Attention Medical Mutual Members
It is with mixed emotions that I must notify you of an important change regarding our practice. After careful consideration, I have decided to discontinue my participation in the Medical Mutual insurance network, effective January 1st, 2024, for only the chiropractic part of our office. While this decision was not made lightly, I believe it is the right step to continue providing you with the highest quality of care.
I fully understand that health insurance coverage is a crucial aspect of your healthcare experience, and I would like to clarify how this change will affect you:
Out-of-Network Status: As of January 1st, 2024 we will no longer be a part of the Medical Mutual network for our chiropractic care. This means that my services will be considered out-of-network for policyholders with Medical Mutual. Dr. Kyle on our physical therapy side will remain as an in-network provider and any services that he provides will be submitted to your insurance as normal.
Continuity of Care: We remain committed to your well-being, and we will continue to provide you with the same exceptional care you have come to expect from us. Our decision to leave the network will not impact the quality of care or the services we offer.
Payment and Claims: If you choose to continue receiving care at our clinic, you will be responsible for the cost of your appointments at the time of service or in accordance with a pre-paid package or wellness program. We will provide you with a detailed invoice that you can submit to Medical Mutual for possible reimbursement, as applicable under your policy’s out-of-network benefits.
Assistance and Support: Our office staff is here to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have about this transition. We can help you navigate the billing process and provide you with the necessary documentation for claim submission. Additionally, although I hope to continue to see you all as your provider of choice, should you wish to find an in-network provider, your files will be available.
Holiday Sale: Our annual holiday sale is in effect right now and continues through January 6th, 2024. Now would be a fantastic time to save money on any future visits that would be self-pay. The visits do not expire. This will be the lowest price available and will insulate from any price increases that happen in 2024.
While we regret any inconvenience this change may cause, we believe it will ultimately allow us to better focus on delivering personalized, patient-centered care without the constraints of Medical Mutual’s insurance network requirements. Our priority has always been your health and well-being, and we remain dedicated to helping you achieve your wellness goals.
